In addition to the benefits of solid brass construction, the Atelier Paintbox was designed with the studio artist in mind. It  has many useful features such as a secure snap closure, storage bag, two removable stainless steel paint pan trays fitted with full or half pans and a removable 3-well mixing tray. The pans are standard size and can be filled with your choice of paints or replaced with commercially available pre-filled pans.

The Atelier Paintbox is constructed of 0.5 mm (24 gauge) brass, with solid brass hinges. The interior is primed and finished with durable white polymer.  With time and use, the brass finish will develop a warm bronze patina.  If you wish to maintain the bright finish, you may do so with a soft cloth and mild metal polish.

The Atelier Paintbox  measures 9.5  x 4.5 x 1  inches  (241 x 114 x 25 mm), and weighs 1 lb. 11 ounces (775 grams).  It will hold 16 full-size or 28 half pans. When opened fully, it measures 9.5 x 13.5 x 1 inches  (241 x 343mm).
